Description: The International Photodynamic Association or IPA is a non-profit organization that supports and endorses the scientific advancement and clinical development of photomedicine, in the areas of photodynamic disinfection, photodynamic therapy (PDT), photoimmunotherapy (PIT), and photodiagnosis (PD).
The purpose of the IPA is promote the study of diagnosis and treatment using light and photosensitisers, to disseminate such information to the members of the IPA, the medical community and to the general public.
