The Shaun Horne Gallery is excited to announce the commencement of the 2023 Crested Butte Plein Air Invitational!
Over the last two years, twenty great plein air painters, including Bill Anton, Josh Elliott, Jay Moore, Ray Roberts, J. Chris Morel, Dave Santillanes, Carolyn Lord, Stephen Quiller, Heather Burton, Bruce A. Gomez, Gay Faulkenberry, Don Sahli, Kathie Odom, Brad Teare, Philip Carlton, John Lintott, Benjamin Knox, Dawn Cohen, and Shaun Horne have been painting in Crested Butte to make original plein air, and then studio paintings.
Additionally, we expect to present paintings by hundreds of Open Artists who have visited the valley and submitted original plein air paintings for sale. The Invitational culminates in Exhibition Sales opening on August 11th and 12th of 2023 at the spectacular new Crested Butte Center for the Arts. The main gallery exhibit will continue through August 28th, 2023.
