Welcome to the Young Adults With Cancer website.  My name is Mark Williams and I created this site with the hope that I can be an encouragement to others who are facing a battle with cancer.  I am a cancer survivor (Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Stage 3) and I have been in remission since August of 2003.  I was diagnosed at the age of 32.  With a wife and 3 young children, I struggled with many issues and sorted through many questions on a physical and spiritual level.  The issues included:

 - How do I view God in the midst of a world with so much suffering?  - What will happen to my wife and kids?  - What will happen to me when I die?  - What will I do if my chemotherapy doesn't work?  - How can I give myself the best chance of winning this fight?  - How do I pay my bills when I don't have the strength to work full-time?

On this site, I will be sharing my perspective on these issues and many more.  Now that I can look back on my experience with cancer, I can honestly say that it was one of the best things that ever happened to me.  That may be hard to imagine for some who are reading this, but it is true.  If we let it, adversity can help us become better people.
