This panel examines at how contemporary science fiction stories construct landscapes beyond the real and in doing so cross a variety of boundaries within and beyond the text.
Born out of the creative translation of English and Japanese stories at the turn of the 20 th century, Chinese SF has from its inception been a genre between -sometimes published as science writing and sometimes as literary fiction.
