The Wash Wader Research Group has been ringing waders (shorebirds) around the shores of the Wash since 1959 . The Group operates with cannon nets and mist nets in both Norfolk and Lincolnshire, with the main aim of providing a better understanding of the waders (shorebirds) using the Wash.
