Description: Entertaining in Song Since 1945 The Westside Singers have been performing in Portland and beyond for over 60 years. Originally begun in 1945, the all-male chorus was known as the Forest Grove Gleemen. When women joined the chorus in the 1960s, the Forest Grove Gleemen became the Forest Grove Gleemen and Girls. As time passed, the chorus grew in size, drawing singers throughout the Portland area.
