Description: WRHU-FM is a cornerstone of The Lawrence Herbert School of Communication at Hofstra. In existence longer than any other noncommercial radio station on Long Island, WRHU has thousands of alumni stretching back over 60 years. More than 280 students participate at WRHU each year.

At WRHU students polish broadcasting/social media skills in multimedia studios with industry standard technology. Students create a variety of content (news, talk, public affairs, music, and sports). Students converge audio/radio play-by-play with video creating multiplatform (mobile/web/broadcast) live game content for Hofstra D1 teams and NBA G-League Long Island Nets .
