Welcome to WNC MOAA and our website! I hope you will find plenty of information here to help you get acquainted or to update your calendar. Founded in 1968, WNC MOAA was incorporated as an affiliate into National MOAA in 1969 and has continued as an active and thriving chapter for 50+ years. WNC MOAA, like National MOAA, is a totally non-partisan organization; our only interest is in supporting active duty members, veterans and their families.

We continue to adjust our efforts to deal with this new reality of COVID-19. We have already conducted two 100% outreaches to our members. We have beefed up our new website, your board has been meeting "virtually" since April, we have had one "hybrid" (outdoor) satellite meeting, three virtual chapter meetings, and we recently held our first and second in-person chapter meetings; in August outdoors at a winery, in November indoors at a winery.

Keeping in mind necessary safety precautions, we have enjoyed the opportunities to get back together to catch up with friends, find out what’s going on in the chapter, and hear an interesting guest speaker. We’ve had some extraordinarily great guest speakers! We have all enjoyed the food, fun and fellowship and the inspiration we draw from one another to never stop serving.
