The Whisker Club is a beard and moustache club based in Bremerton, Washington (near Seattle). We strive to have fun, promote the growth of facial hair, competitions among those who are proud of their whiskers and benefit the community. The club has raised funds for Childrens Hospital , United Way , Benedict House (Catholic Community Services), Washington Veterans Home , WIN (Women in Need), Movember, Kitsap Mental Health , Hope Sparks and Treehouse . The 2011 World Beard and Moustache Championship was held in Trondheim, Norway on May 15, 2011 and this event was hosted by the Norwegian Moustache Club . The Whisker Club did quite well with two World Championships and one third place. For photos of the winners click here .
Some Whisker Club members also traveled to the Hungarian Moustache Festival and again were rather successful with several awards.
