The Broccoli City Festival Goers and Show-ers
There were definitely weird people at the Broccoli City Festival this year but it seemed like EVERYONE was weird. People came out looking their best - looking there weirdest - however in a city like Washington DC, I wondered how many people were actually this weird? People had septum piercings, men were wearing dresses and women were wearing multi-colored lipstick.
“Where were these people in every day life?” I wondered. When I walk down the streets of Washington DC I don’t see a young vibrant city filled with lots of artistic and creative people. Am I looking in the wrong places?
