Everybody has a story. I used to think that I didn’t have much to say, but then life happened. I’m an ordinary suburban housewife and mother, living near the beautiful Cascade Mountains, just east of Seattle. I’m married to a handy “car guy”, and stay busy raising four kids, and volunteering at school and church teaching art and kids classes. To many, that may sound like a dream, but the story doesn’t end there.
Although I have a Master’s Degree in Child Development, I still walk my parenting journey with some trial and error, lots of prayer and mother’s intuition. I’m thankful for my network of other amazing moms who are walking the same parenting path.
My story has been marked by divorce, remarriage, miscarriages, and multiple battles with cancer. I may have scars but, by the grace of God, I still have hope and a positive outlook.
