Description: Westside Mountain Bike Series (WSMTB) is a cross-country (XC) mountain bike series in the PNW, including Seattle, Tacoma, and larger Puget Sound region, put on by Bell Lap Productions. Formerly owned by BuDu racing, WSMTB offers fun, friendly racing for beginners through experts and includes the popular single speed category. We also are one of the first races in the region to include non-binary categories!
BuDu Racing, LLC began promoting the West Side Mountain Bike Series in 2006 with just four events at South Seatac Park. The next year we added the Black Diamond Trails and kept adding locations after that. WSMBS has always been early season, mainly because of the BuDu event and timing schedule during the summer. We hope that you will come enjoy local trails and fun people.
In 2022, Rory and Deanna announced their retirement and have handed over the West Side Mountain Bike Series to Michael Copenhaver and Ella Dorband, from Bell Lap Production, llc . We are very excited for the transition in 2023, but we will be at the events providing assistance to Bell Lap Production as they see fit. The series is transferring to very capable hands!
