Our 2023 season has now come to an end. Thank you to all of you who joined in to make this such a wonderful season. There were flowers cascading from the entrance, pink umbrellas, cocktails, bubbles, ice creams, chocolate, complimentary coffees, and meals aplenty from oysters to fish and chips. And then there were so many spectacular sunset views of Sydney. Thank you weather Gods. You took away 4 nights, but you gave us so many beautiful ones.
On screen there were so many highlights and wonderful nights. Frances O’Connor introducing Emily. Jemima Khan and Shekhar Kapur unveiling the gorgeous What’s Love Got To Do With It. Cinema Paradiso on a hot Saturday night. The audience singing along to You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling as 1986 Mav falls for his instructor. Almost all the Oscar® 2023 nominated films, and a collection of wonderful AFTRS shorts.
