Alongside being Responsible Clinician (RC) to a Central London-based independent specialist unit, Dr Mistry provides both private outpatient & inpatient support at the Nightingale Hospital, London. He can offer consults at training grounds or corporate venues when given sufficient notice.
Dr Mistry is chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Sport & Exercise Special Interest Group and mental health advisor to Oxford University Sport. He released his first book, “Case Studies in Sports Psychiatry” with Cambridge University Press in late 2020 and in September 2021 was appointed Consultant Sport Psychiatrist to the English Cricket Board (ECB) Women's XI national side.
His clinical research is focussed on disordered eating, exercise addiction, athlete mental illness and wellbeing optimisation in the sport, leisure and fitness industry. He is proudly on the CBT-E register for those who need psychological support.
