The Greater Portland Immigrant Welcome Center is located on ancestral grounds originally cared for by the Aucocisco Band of the Wabanaki, which also includes the Abenaki, Maliseet, Mi’kmaq, Passamaquoddy, and Penobscot people, for thousands of years.
