The 2023 Polar Plunge was a huge success! Over 30 plungers dipped in water temps of 43 degrees with an air temp of 36 degrees. We want to thank the Webster Fire & Rescue for being on standby to ensure all were safe, the Yousef family for their Dunkin’s donations, Earthworks Construction of their restroom rental, Carole Marchand for opening the beach house for us, as well as the numerous friends, family and supporters who donated to the cause of sending Fire/Rescue members to Diver Training in memory of Paul
The Last Green Valley, in cooperation with CT DEEP and the US EPA Cyanobacteria Monitoring Collaborative, will be hosting a free workshop focused on lake monitoring on Thursday, May 11 beginning at 10 AM through 2 PM. The workshop will be held at Roseland Park, 205 Roseland Park Road in Woodstock, CT.
