Winter in Wenatchee is always a mystery. This year is no exception; we've seen warmer days in the 40's instead of the 20's and then cold snow driven days that have caught our snow pack up to normal. Meanwhile here on the farm routines continue on from one season to the next. We said good-bye to some of our awesome boys this fall and my heart is a bit sad. On the other hand our 2019 crias continue to grow and have said good-bye to their moms and hello to their next phase in life. Halter training is starting
Waypoint Farm started as Red Hat Farm in 2005. We started with two females with cria at side and quickly added our third female which delivered our first cria one chilly May evening. Today with a new name, more knowledge but the same great passion, we continue to follow our mission statement to raise Huacaya alpacas with superior fiber, demonstrating fineness, density, good character and handle.
