The CHM Panda Critical Care Transport Team brings over 1200 seriously ill infants and children per year emergently to our hospital from emergency rooms and community hospitals throughout the region to receive the highest level of care available anywhere. In October 2021, the Panda Team welcomed the addition of a new medical helicopter designed to transport critically ill children and newborns in need of immediate medical care.
