The Watsonville Community Band is a non-profit public benefit corporation comprised of all volunteers. We are organized for the specific purpose of providing members the opportunity to play music, both for their enjoyment and education, and the entertainment of our community.
We are located in the beautiful town of Watsonville, California. This is the heart of the Californian vegetable and fruit growing area within the fertile Salinas Valley and Pajaro Valley. Apples, strawberries, artichokes, and many other crops thrive in our temperate climate. Ocean beaches on the Monterey Bay are close and the tourist centers of Monterey, Carmel, and Santa Cruz are a short drive away.
The Watsonville Community Band is one of the few adult community bands in the United States which performs on a regular basis: marching and concert, with all performances free to the public.
