Although I was born and raised in South Dakota, I’ve felt a connection to Minnesota since my childhood. I fell in love with paddling on a trip to the Boundary Waters with my dad at age 12. Upon graduating college in 2006, I moved to Minnesota where I continued to pursue my passion for paddling, discovering over 4,500 miles of water trails throughout the state.
