Description: The Water Test Network is a transnational network of testing facilities which can be used to test, demonstrate and fine-tune innovative technologies in the water and wastewater domain.
The Water Test Network started as part of an Interreg North West Europe Programme Innovation Project between 2018 – 2022 ( Water Test Network | Interreg NWE (nweurope.eu) ). A partnership of 7 organisations across the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, received €3.64m funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) contributing 60% towards a project which aimed to accelerate time to market of innovations, and assist Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to develop products that are
This Project came to an end in December 2022. It helped to create and enhance 3 new testing facilities, provided 106 SMEs with advice and guidance, and supported 49 technologies through to testing and/or verification.
From 2023 the Water Test Network remains in operation with 6 of the original partnership continuing to offer access to 13 testing facilities, including operational scale demonstrator sites, laboratories and verification bodies. Facilities can be found across the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium. We continue to support innovative companies in the further development of their technology and accelerate the time to bring new technology to the market.
