Wreaths Across America was founded by a wreath making company owner (Morrill Worcester) on the east coast in 1992. It started when Mr. Worcester's company had an abundance of wreaths one year. He subsequently had them delivered to Arlington National Cemetery, where with the help of volunteers, they were laid on the grave sites of many fallen heroes.
