V. Romanoff & Associates has specialized in building restoration and historic preservation consulting since 1968. The principal partners, Victoria Romanoff and Sarah W. Adams , based in upstate New York, bring a unique combination of skills to their projects. Educated in architectural history and fine arts, with many years of practical building experience, they combine historic design and preservation with knowleadgable construction supervision.
A "hands on" approach has produced a number of restoration skills. V. Romanoff & Associates has cast plaster reproductions of moldings, manufactured vacuum molded decorative elements, created or repaired faux surfaces, painted architectural murals in trompe l'oeil, executed intricate stenciling, gilded moldings and ornaments. These talents are visible in numerous churches , residences , historic interiors , and commercial facades throughout New York state.
