Veterinary Ophthalmology Services works closely with your veterinarian to provide the most up-to-date eye care and surgical treatments for your pet. Our AAHA-accredited specialty referral practice has been seeing small animals, horses, exotics, and wildlife in middle Tennessee and surrounding states for over 20 years.
An ophthalmic exam includes a thorough evaluation of the structure and function of your pet’s eyes and visual system. If problems are identified, options and recommendations can be made which may include medical and/or surgical procedures to help restore your pet’s health and quality of life.
Standard exam room tests include Schirmer tear test, tonometry (intraocular pressure measurement), and fluorescein stain.
