Victorum Capital is a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage technology companies that are “off the beaten path” and often overlooked by traditional venture capital. There are great businesses being started and built across the US. We focus on the places that are often overlooked and underserved by traditional venture capital. We invest $250k to $1mm into Seed and Series A rounds. We are happy to lead rounds or co-invest alongside others. We focus on digital, enterprise technology companies. Software, data, payments / transactions, marketplaces, IoT, B2B2c, etc. We are vertical agnostic. We prefer companies that are showing at least initial signs of product market fit.
James is a Managing Partner of Victorum Capital where he oversees day-to-day operations of the club. Previously, James helped raise a corporate venture capital fund of ~$32 million focused on energy technologies at Baker Hughes. Prior to raising the fund, he was the Senior Manager of Ventures & Growth for Baker Hughes, a GE Company (“BHGE”) where he was responsible for product commercialization, business development, and economic analysis efforts for BHGE’s Energy Innovation Center.
