Close to home, Vancouver Island Trail on completion will be one of the longest trails in British Columbia at nearly 800 kilometers. A continuous trail that passes through the traditional territories of many Indigenous Peoples from the Songhees in the south to the Tlatlasikwala in the north. Along the way it showcases a great diversity of island landscapes and scenery.

Vancouver Island Trail begins on the traditional territory of the WSÁNEĆ, Lkwungen, Wyomilth peoples of the Coast Salish Nation who continue to maintain a profound and spiritual connection to the Land.
