Vera Graziadei is a Ukraine-born British actor , filmmaker and poet . After a degree and Masters in Philosophy at London School of Economics, Vera completed BA Acting from London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). She was signed up by Curtis Brown upon graduation and since then worked as an actor in film, TV, theatre and radio in the UK and internationally. She is currently represented by Simon & How .
She’s developed her craft doing small roles in British long-running TV series like The Bill, Doctors, Blue Murder, Spooks, Poirot , but also working in leading roles in features and high-budget TV dramas, most notably The Deep with Oscar-nominee Minnie Driver, James Nesbitt OBE, Tobias Menzies and Sacha Dhawan, Me and Mrs Jones with Robert Sheehan, Nathaniel Parker, Neil Morrissey and Sarah Alexander and Vampire Killers with MyAnna Buring. Vera’s debut poetry book The Holy Longing came out in September 2018 and got high praise from the readers . White Light , a film based on the poem from the book that Vera performed in and produced, won Best Experimental Film at New York City Independent Film Festival 2020.
