Hi! I’m Venkat ( he/him/his ). I’m a PhD student in Computational Linguistics at The University of Texas at Austin. I'm fortunate to be a member of a rich group of researchers working on NLP at UT. Outside of research, I love cooking, running, biking, building apps for Apple platforms, and the movies .
For the 2022 and 2023 academic years, I'm organizing the South by Semantics Workshop at UT Austin with Samuel Cantor . Our goal is to invite scholars working on interesting problems in Language to present their work at UT, and engage with our rich community of researchers in the field.
My full name is really long (Venkata Subrahmanyan is my first name, and Govindarajan is my last name) — unless you're citing me in a paper or official document, call me Venkat.
