History Founded by Vernon R. Bitzer in 1951, Vernon Bitzer Associates has been representing the Watts Regulator Company in the Philadelphia area and surrounding regions for nearly 70 years. Over the years, Vernon continued to grow his company and add more product lines, and was eventually joined by his son, Dick Bitzer, and son-in-law, Bill Whitson.
