This course introduces students to marine field ecology and marine biology work. It provides opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in marine biology research. Students design and conduct field observations and experiments aimed to answer questions concerning specific topics, including trophic structure, reproductive strategies, recruitment, behavior, coevolutionary relationships, energy cycling, and detrimental impacts due to human activities.
