Applications are being taken -- NOW. The deadline to apply for Fall 2023 is June 1st. Field placements are granted on a FIRST-COME FIRST-SERVED basis, so you are encouraged to apply early. APPLY HERE . ** IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION ** The Initiative is a two year commitment. Applicants must have at least two undergraduate years remaining from the date they start in the Initiative. The initiative is open to Dornsife majors only. Work study eligibility is required to participate in the Initiative.
Legal advocacy , community activism and government policy are the three areas of focus of the Initiative's cohorts. Social issues don't exist in a vacuum. That's why our program emphasizes change on every level, by all means. Our students engage in a holistic study of how to make change happen, and gain skills, contacts, and resources they need to become lifelong change-makers.
