I was trained in art education at Alexander Mackie College of Advanced Education (now University of NSW: Art & Design ), Australia. For most of my career I have worked at the Art Gallery of New South Wales (the principal art museum in Sydney, Australia): as museum educator, senior coordinator of education programs, website manager and finally as senior coordinator of online programs. In 2013, I left the Gallery to become a freelance writer, lecturer, curator and website manager.
