Our Story The Uganda Investment Club was founded in the city of Los Angeles, California USA. The idea was initiated by founder member Juma Kabugo and a team of like-minded Ugandans. After years of professional service and entrepreneurship ventures, the team created the UGIC-LA organization to drive and lead an era of transformation for its members in the context of the diaspora community. The Community Center is our ultimate real estate venture in the medium term.. The founding team envisions a fully functional mixed-use facility with an events hall, child care center, Ugandan cafe and business offices among others. All our founding members are extremely talented and passionate about these business ideas and new member support and we currently open to capital contributions towards this and our related ventures.
The LA 5K Marathon marks the beginning of summer on a health note of fitness. The UGIC-LA Community Marathon is a 5 kilometer free run in Los Angeles California.
