For learners, where possible, I look to recreate a bit of my own experience. I learnt to drive in an old 1974 Land Rover Series 3 in a field behind my parents' house in Kent. I experienced how an old car actually works, what different driving conditions felt like and how external factors such as the weather, temperature and even the odd farm animal can all affect your driving.
