Thames Valley Animal Welfare is a local charity, founded by Ann Butler Smith in 1983, specialising in the rescue of stray, abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens. We are based around the wider Reading/Henley-on-Thames area, covering a 15 mile radius of Reading.

Run entirely by volunteers and completely dependent on donations to fund our work, each year we help on average over 500 cats and kittens get the medical care they need and find the loving new homes they deserve. We also run a lost and found register, helping to reunite countless lost cats with their owners.
