Tulsagluedobber
The Tulsa Glue Dobbers’ membership varies from 100 to 150 members ranging in age from eight to eighty. With this large membership comes a diversity of backgrounds and interests in all aspects of aviation. You’ll find members with particular interest in aerobatics, scale warbirds, electrics, and sailplanes. The one characteristic common to all members is the enjoyment we get from building, flying, and talking about our model aircraft.
Our flying facility, Grant Wilson Field, is lo cated at 28th and Lynn Lane, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The facilities include a paved runway, two sun shelters with electrical outlets, a club house, and bleachers for spectators. On a good day when the wind is below 20 mph, you will likely find members out flying and who are happy to answer questions.
