This is a Stauffer "Legnani" model with key adjustable neck and floating fingerboard. Soundboard is spruce, one piece maple back, maple sides. I regularly build two different models: one with 640mm string length and a smaller one with 610mm string length. The guitar can have Stauffer style head, metal tuners with custom engraved decorative back plate. Optionaly the head can be 8-shaped with traditional wooden pegs or "Pegheds" tuners.

Viennese guitars with extra basses: 8 or 9-string N. G. Ries model with adjustable neck. String length 625mm. This type of guitar with extra non-fingered basses was adopted by several other makers in the 19th century (eg. J. G. Stauffer, F. Schenk and F. Feilnreiter).

A replica of Scherzer 10-string guitar (Wien, 1858) with double back and steel tension rod reinforcing the body. Sides and back of the guitar are laminated (maple inside/rosewood outside). The neck is adjustable. String length 640mm.
