Ph.D. Student, CMU Human-Computer Interaction Institute

I am a second-year PhD student in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am very grateful to be co-advised by Prof. Ken Holstein and Prof. Haiyi Zhu . I create interactive systems and design methods that empower community members to actively participate in the design and evaluation of responsible AI in sociotechnical systems. Working closely with communities ranging from local residents in Pittsburgh and online groups on Wikipedia, my research investigates AI failure

Previously, I graduated with an M.S. from Stanford University, where I worked with Prof. James Landay and Prof. Elizabeth Murnane in the Stanford HCI Group . I also graduated summa cum laude from National Taiwan University , where I received B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
