Tri-Angle Combatives (TRICOM) was founded in 2004 by Jared Wihongi, an international Close-Quarters Combat expert, retired SWAT officer and Special Forces hand-to-hand combat instructor. He holds the rank of Tuhon, the highest rank attainable in the Filipino Martial Art of Pekiti Tirsia Kali.
TRICOM refers to the three primary subcategories of martial arts, namely striking, grappling, and weapon based fighting. At the TRICOM Training Center, we provide classes in traditional martial arts that specialize in each of these areas, along with the TRICOM system which blends them into a seamless self-defense program.
