The Holy Ghost Congress, noted as a programme of prayers, salvation, signs, wonders and miracles, started on December 18th, 1998 at Lekki Beach near Lagos, the only place that could take that kind of crowd at the time. It was an all night event with a miraculous turn out of millions of people, which the CNN reportedly estimated at over six million. Attendance at the Congress has since grown beyond imagination. The Holy Ghost Congress has given birth to countless number of new Parishes in various cities and nations where the story of God's miracles and wonders have reached. This has further enhanced the spread of the gospel of our Lord Jesus accross nations. This singular programme that hold in Lagos, Portharcourt and Abuja provides platform for all children of the Almighty God to partner with our beloved General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God in providing support for the successful hosting of the Congress.
