We are always in need of foster homes for dogs in our rescue. Unlike most rescues, we have a unique foster program. Our program is designed for those select individuals who truly want to work with dogs who need a second chance and are interested in improving their handling skills and knowledge of canine behavior. Our program pairs the foster with an experienced trainer/behaviorist who will develop an individualized training plan for a specific dog in order to prepare the dog for a more successful adoption.
The benefits of our program for the foster are: more appropriate foster placement, exposure to a wide variety of canine behaviors with guidance as to the best practices for addressing and shaping those behaviors, personal enrichment and improvement of canine handling skills.
