Towneley Golf Club prides itself on being a friendly and welcoming club. It was established in 1932 and has been providing excellent golf and clubhouse facilities to the local area ever since. The original 9-hole course was designed in 1930 by James Braid and extended to an 18-hole layout in 1967 when the front nine holes were added. The course features mature trees and some well placed ponds, streams and ditches. This popular municipal course is an excellent test of golf and an enjoyable day out for anyone
