Patricia & Anthony “Tony” Martinez moved to Delano, CA in 1973. Patricia was a surgical technician and Tony was the general manager of Thrifty Drug Store. After a pizza parlor next to Thrifty’s closed down in 1978, Tony and Patricia decided to embark on a journey that would give this parlor a new life. Before this could be done, however, they needed to find the perfect recipe. So, they met with their italian friends Danny & Lucy Ditri from Mountain View, CA.
