Threshold Singers of Ann Arbor is a chapter of the Threshold Choir, which envisions “a world where all at life’s thresholds may be honored with compassion shared through song.” We continue the ancient tradition of singing at the bedsides of people who are undergoing a transition--between life and death, between injury and healing, between one stage of life and another. The voice, as the original human instrument, is a true and gracious vehicle for compassion and comfort.

When invited--and without charge--we visit in small groups, or sing over the phone or via videoconference. We welcome families and caregivers, if they are on hand, to join us in song or simply to be quietly present.
