Thomas Sheddan is an Affiliate Broker with Marx-Bensdorf, REALTORS®. A native Memphian and graduate of Germantown High School, Thomas was raised by a pioneer in local real estate. His mother, Myra Sheddan has sold real estate in Memphis and the Mid-South for decades. Armed with his lifelong exposure to real estate, Thomas’ first career was in construction. In fact, he has nearly 25 years of experience in construction and has been a licensed contractor for 11+ years.
He first began working in construction during his college years at Middle Tennessee State University. After graduation, he began his professional construction career during which he has done all types of building, remodeling restoration and rehabbing of various types of property, all while gaining valuable project management skills and market knowledge. An advocate of the local community, Thomas volunteers for several local organizations and has served on the board for St. Jude Children’s Hospital’s Up ‘til Dawn event. When he’s not working, Thomas enjoys hunting, being in the great outdoors, and spending time with family. Thomas and his wife, Angie, live in east Memphis with their three dogs: a 6-month-old female boxer, a 2-year-old male boxer and a 14-year-old Pomeranian.
