Thistle Youth FC was established in 2015 by a group of football and community minded coaches and parents from North East Aberdeenshire who were looking to provide a Football Club for the Coaches, Children and Youths in Newburgh area to develop, In line with the SYFA player Pathway and Positive Coaching Scotland initiatives.
We currently have 15 age groups registered with the SYFA and 3 with the SWF, we have 300 players and 75 coaches. We’ve worked hard over the past 6 years and were rewarded by being presented with the SFA’s Platinum Legacy Award.
