Thisiscorbridge.co.uk is the original Corbridge website that was set up over twenty years ago, primarily to encourage trade and tourism, when community sites were in their infancy, and quickly established an active presence on the www. The site not only encouraged greater trade and tourism for Corbridge but has been an information centre for businesses and local people, with an Events Diary for What’s On and When - invaluable during school holidays.
During all this time we have enjoyed assisting a variety of visitors and enquiries from around the world and interacting with the local community. However in recent years Google has changed its conditions for site usage and this has severely affected our web traffic. Being a non-profit making site we do not have funds to pay for Google advertising and therefore from Spring 2022 this site has been forced to close.
