He opened his first coffee shop in Israel in the early ’90s and led coffee shop chains and coffee wholesale companies in Israel for more than 18 years. Arik relocated with his family to London and launched Doppio Coffee Warehouse in April 2010, a unique business model which combined Coffee shop, Retail and Wholesale Concept under the same roof. He was one of the people at the forefront of the exciting coffee shop market development in the UK – The Espresso Revolution back in 2010.
Utilising his accumulated experience in the UK, European and Middle Eastern coffee markets Arik has formed The Urban Concepts – Wholesale and Retail as a marketing consultancy focused on developing new concepts, harnessing modern technologies and advising on Routes to Market in the exciting fifth wave of the UK coffee market.
