The Singapore Asset Managers and Brokers Awards or SAMBA for short – was set up in 2014 by members of Singapore’s investment community with one simple aim: to unite the local financial industry in an annual event that raises money for the less fortunate in Singapore and the region.
Our tag is a play on “Sell in May and go away” that reflects a common market practitioners view on what to do before heading off on a mid-year holiday! SAMBA brings both the buy and sell side together for an evening of fun and laughter while digging deep into pockets to give a little and then a little more! The evening includes jokes at our own expense, the crowning of Mr & Mrs SAMBA, live and silent auctions and a cracking band!
