I’m Therese Crutcher-Marin, a Huntington’s disease (HD) advocate, Chair for the the HDSA San Francisco Bay Area Chapter , a blogger and an author.
Five years ago my family started the San Jose Team Hope Timed 10K Run & 5K Walk . My kids added the 10K timed run because runners are a great addition to the event, and they bring in more money. Having the Team Hope Run/Walk in the South Bay of the San Francisco, greater San Jose Area, allowed HD families to not travel as far with their loved ones because it’s a long drive to attend the San Francisco Team Hope Walk .
